Mercedes new battery partner Farasis disappointed: The quality of the first cells is `catastrophic`

In 2019, Mercedes entered into a cooperation agreement with Farasis, a cell manufacturer that is quite unknown and hardly plays a role on the market. Last summer, the Stuttgart company also acquired shares in the company. However, the first trial cells fell far short of expectations in terms of quality. In addition, the construction of the Chinese company`s European plant has been significantly delayed. Mercedes is currently still being supplied by other Chinese companies.
